Good news Canadian friends, Starbucks Canada is the next coffee chain to partner with Beyond Meat to bring you a delicious breakfast sandwich featuring a plant-based patty! The new Beyond meat, Cheddar and Egg Sandwich will be a part of Starbucks’ core menu in all locations across Canada beginning March 3, 2020, which FYI is less than a week away!
The demand for more diverse protein options continues to grow and Starbucks is committed to providing its guests with innovative and sustainable options. The new sandwich is specially developed with the Starbucks customer in mind to ensure high-quality protein and flavor! Each breakfast sandwich features a Beyond Breakfast Sausage patty made with an exclusive blend of herbs and spices that will perfectly complement the flavor of the egg, cheese, and artisanal bun. It is worth noting that although the sandwich features a plant-based patty the sandwich is not vegan due to the egg and cheese.

The Beyond Meat, Cheddar and Egg Sandwich contains 25 grams of protein with almost half of that coming from the Beyond Meat Sausage Patty. The Patty is made with plant-based foods such as brown rice, peas and contains no GMO’s, artificially produced ingredients, gluten, and soy.
