It’s time to put that lazy susan to work! We’ve got a super handy, super easy hack for you to help organize your countertop essentials, from cooking oils, to salt and pepper, to your most used utensils. This is a great DIY way to organize your countertop to make whipping up for favorite meal even easier and clear up some space in your crowded cupboards in a way that will keep your home looking Pinteresty!

We love our lazy susans! Check out these other cool ways to organize your kitchen using one HERE!

It’s simple. Buy a lazy susan that suits your needs. Clear out some space on your countertop and place the lazy susan. If you want, use a chalk pen (like THIS one) to write what things are on the caddy. For example, “Oils” or “Spices”. You can use a pretty script to elevate the overall look as well! Then add whatever your specific countertop essentials are into each of the compartments, using the center for cooking utensils like scissors, a whisk, ladle, or whatever you use. Be sure to personalize it! If you cook a lot with coconut oil, but not cooking oil spray, make that swap! It’s totally up to you.

And that’s it! It’s just one of each many ways to use a handy dandy Lazy Susan to tidy up and make your kitchen more Pinteresty.

Looking for an inexpensive lazy susan? Check out the one we used HERE or grab THIS super cute two-tiered version for double the space! Alternatively, check out your local dollar or discount retail store to find one on the cheap.

Rhiannon Ball

Rhiannon loves to cook and bake but has also never said "no" to a takeout burrito (see, she's just like you!). Despite slowly running out of room in her cabinets, she continues to expand her collections of cookbooks and kitchen gadgets and is deeply jealous of people who can just "whip something up" without a recipe. When she's not in the kitchen, you can find her camping and hiking with her husband and rescue dog, Waffles.
